women's green opal akasha mala bracelet, made with a grade a+ green opal, faceted smoky quartz, and antique brass buddha guru bead. akasha is my favorite sanskrit term, used to designate the "inner" space of the heart or the space of consciousness. in fact, it was this term that inspired the name 5th element yoga. it represents the fifth essential element of space or sky, which allows the creation of all of the other elements.
opal is a stone of inspiration which enhances imagination and creativity. it helps one release inhibitions, enhances memory, and is known to be a very spiritual stone. it is also said to be a stone for love, it brings happy dreams, eases the process of change, and physically is said to aid eyesight and parkinson's disease.
smoky quartz is a grounding stone that has been used most often to overcome depression, nightmares and stress. it is said to stimulate the natural crystal in body tissues and fluids to resonate at the highest healing frequency. the clearest smoky quartz are the most intense, are powerfully opening to the crown chakra, and induce alpha/deep meditation. its benefits also include channeling higher guidance, deep relaxation, and helping with unconditional love.
