men's shiva lingam necklace, made with a strong adjustable black cotton cord, and shiva lingam pendant. each necklace is adjustable with sliding knots and measures approximately 31" inches in total length. pendant measures 1.75" inches. please note that each stone varies slightly in its natural appearance.
the shiva lingam is a symbol of shiva in the hindu tradition. contrary to popular metaphysical belief in the United States, the shiva lingam does not represent the phallus. it is made from a particular stone from an Indian river believed to have healing powers for the mind, body, and soul. it balances all seven chakras and is believed to induce concentration and focus one's mind in the hindu culture.
